 Attero Recycling's Best Practices
An NGO concentrating mostly on e-waste and e-waste management in India, released a press release to media regarding Attero Recycling being given a license to import e- waste by the Ministry of Environment and Forests, Government of India. The press release also states that Attero Recycling has been given permission for import of 8000 MT of hazardous e-waste from UK and USA.

Attero wishes to reiterate that, although the clearance was given to Attero by the Ministry, their focus will be on domestic e-waste collection andd recycling. The state- of- the-art plant in Roorkee has complete environmental management systems in place approved by MOEF (Ministry of Environment & Forests), CPCB (Central Pollution Control Board) and TUV (ISO Auditors). Attero is also the first and only company to have a plant that does precious metal refining and a plastic to fuel conversion plant for utilizing the non recyclable plastic present in E-Waste.

Attero and its management have been continuously striving to raise the awareness of people in India towards e-waste and its recycling. They have been organizing collection drives in residential areas and have also tied up with many corporate to this end. Attero remains firmly committed to its ideals and will not indulge in hazardous recycling and dumping of E waste in India.
